2. Website visits and hosting

To deliver and protect this website, the web server and hosting infrastructure process technical request and connection data. This can include your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser information and technical error details. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process this data to operate and secure their services.

The purpose is reliable delivery, troubleshooting and protection against abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in providing a secure and functioning website. This site has no visitor analytics system and does not enable general web-server access logging in its current configuration. Technical error/security records or infrastructure-provider logs may nevertheless exist.

Connection data is processed as needed to handle requests. Any technical records are retained for the period needed for operational or security purposes, subject to the infrastructure provider's retention settings and applicable legal requirements. No fixed deletion period for provider-side logs is asserted here.

Fonts, icons, screenshots and example images are hosted on this site's own origin. The ASCII background is decorative browser-side rendering. It does not send visitor data to an animation provider.

3. Cookies, storage and on-site tracking

This landing page does not set application cookies, use local storage to track visitors, or load analytics, advertising pixels, third-party fonts, embedded social feeds or Brevo's tracking scripts. It does not create visitor profiles. Browser caching of static files is used for delivery performance, not behavioural tracking.

These statements describe this site's pages, not external destinations. Brevo's hosted form/response pages and external websites may use their own cookies or technologies when you visit them.

4. Newsletter signup through Brevo

Subscribing is voluntary. The newsletter concerns DitherMaster Studio sales, giveaways and updates. The form asks only for your email address. Clicking Subscribe requests that these emails be sent to you. The legal basis for newsletter marketing is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Your email address is necessary for this purpose, but you are not required to subscribe to use the website.

The form sends your email address directly by HTTPS POST to 295612e9.sibforms.com, a Brevo signup endpoint, and opens the response in a new tab. It also sends the language setting and an empty anti-spam field. Brevo receives the technical connection information associated with that request, such as your IP address and browser information. The landing page does not maintain its own subscriber database.

Brevo is operated by Sendinblue SAS, 9-17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France. It provides contact management and email delivery. Depending on the subscription workflow, it may process consent/confirmation records, signup dates and delivery, bounce or unsubscribe information. Where a confirmation email is issued, follow its link to complete the signup. Visiting the thank-you page by itself does not create or verify a subscription.

Brevo offers optional email open and link-click measurement. If those features are enabled in a newsletter campaign, they may process interaction information, including opens, clicks, timestamps and IP addresses. This is separate from tracking on the landing page, which does not load those technologies. Consent to receive the newsletter is not a blanket consent to unrelated tracking. Any additional consent legally required for a tracking feature must be obtained separately. Contact the controller with questions about newsletter processing or tracking.

Brevo's service terms include data-processing provisions and identify its subprocessors. Its published terms describe possible processing outside the European Economic Area and transfer safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or applicable adequacy mechanisms. This policy does not promise that all newsletter data remains in Germany or the EU. See Brevo's terms and data-processing provisions and Brevo's privacy policy.

You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time, for example through an unsubscribe option in a newsletter or by emailing info@gravehammer.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Newsletter contact data is needed while the subscription is active. Following withdrawal, marketing use must stop. Limited records may still be needed to honour the opt-out, document consent or meet legal obligations. Consent/opt-out evidence may be processed under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR where a legal obligation applies, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for protecting against claims and preventing unwanted further mailings. Contact the controller to request deletion or details of retained records.

5. Email contact

If you contact info@gravehammer.com, your email address, message and any information you choose to include are processed to handle your request. Email service providers may process these communications. The basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual requests, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other correspondence and the legitimate interest in responding.

Correspondence is retained while needed to handle the matter or meet applicable legal duties. Unnecessary data should be deleted. Legally required retention takes priority where applicable. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation and object to processing for direct marketing at any time.

To exercise your rights, contact info@gravehammer.com. These rights are not excluded merely because the website is static or a service provider handles newsletter data.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. The authority for Rhineland-Palatinate is Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz.

This website does not perform automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects on visitors.

8. Changes and scope

This policy may be updated when this site's features, providers or processing change. The date below identifies the current version. A link to this policy is available beside the newsletter signup and in the footer of this site's pages.
